NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department announced that a third suspect has been booked on indictments related to a deadly September 2023 shooting in the Bellshire neighborhood.

On Friday, September 15, 2023, officers were sent to the 3000 block of Moonlight Drive following reports about a shooting. Authorities arrived to find 22-year-old Kyle Martin Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

In March 2024, the MNPD arrested Nathaniel Harris, now 20, and Thomas Wade, now 22, for their indictments in connection with Martin's death. A continued investigation by the MNPD's Homicide Unit found that Jaymes Greer, now 25, was also involved in Martin's homicide.

Greer was already in custody on an unrelated case, but now faces charges of first-degree murder, being a felon in possession of a weapon and use of a weapon during a dangerous felony. As of publication, Greer is being held without bond.
