Teen faces multiple charges after allegedly bringing loaded gun to Nashville high school

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 16-year-old is facing several charges after allegedly bringing a gun to the campus of a Nashville high school.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, administrators at Glencliff High School became suspicious of a vehicle after a group of students gathered around it. Earlier in the day, police said a student was reportedly overheard saying there would be fireworks at dismissal.
School staff conducted a search of the vehicle, per the MNPD, and found a loaded Glock pistol. The gun had not been reported stolen.
The teen has been charged with bringing a gun onto campus and unlawful gun possession.
