Block drafts by covering windows and doors with towels or blankets

Keep refrigerators and freezers closed as much as possible

Check on elderly neighbors and those who may need extra assistance

Roadways remain dangerous, and we strongly encourage everyone to stay off the roads unless travel is essential. TDOT continues working to plow and salt state routes. The City of Springfield and the City of White House are actively clearing roadways and opening storm drains to allow proper drainage.
