NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Metro Parks survey is making its way across several communities, and one neighborhood is pushing for its residents to weigh in on green space improvements.
Brookmeade Park recently reopened after the city closed it to clear out a years-old homeless encampment, and local residents are now pushing for their fellow neighbors to fill out the survey and ask for additional improvements.
While the Plan to Play update survey is voluntary, Metro Parks put it out to give neighbors around Metro Nashville a voice in what they want to see improve in their parks.
Park leaders want to use the information to not only improve the park experience for families, but also invest in the needs and prioritize everyone who calls Nashville home.
The group Reclaim Brookmeade Park is pushing for residents to complete the survey so Metro officials can focus on investing in the greenway in West Nashville.
The Plan to Play survey can be found here. It will be open until midnight July 31.
