NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — First responders across Middle Tennessee responded to downed trees and other storm damage as severe weather rolled through the area.

Erin Zeigler with the Tennessee Department of Transportation added that crews were working across the region to clear trees and other debris, including sharing a photo of a tree that hit a vehicle along state route 48 in Hickman County. Zeigler said the driver walked away with only minor scrapes and bruises.

In Williamson County, the Emergency Management Agency reported that a tree blocked Johnson Hollow Road south of Interstate 840 near Mobley's Cut Road between Boston and Burwood. Though no injuries were reported and no utility lines were affected, crews worked on the tree for hours.

The Franklin Police Department reported numerous downed trees as well.

The Murfreesboro Police Department provided an update to several incidents across the area, including reports of a tree that fell on the roof of a second-story home around 5:30 p.m. No injuries were reported and the family inside the home is safe. Both trees and a cable line were downed on Florence Road at Valor Road with the outbound lane of traffic toward Broad blocked.

Trees also fell down along Broad and crews with Ladder 4 helped cut the tree and clear the debris. As if about 6:40 p.m. Monday, Haley Road was impassable due to flooding. Workers with the City Street Department worked with high water barrels to clear the roadway.
