Description

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 36-year-old man was arrested after he was found naked, yelling and wandering around a Germantown park early Monday morning.

Officers were called to Morgan Park on Hume Street just after 7 a.m.

According to court documents, officers found the naked man near Fifth Avenue North walking down a public sidewalk. Officers tried to talk with him and he was sometimes incoherent but had moments of clarity.

Medics with the Nashville Fire Department came to assess the man and determined he did not need to be hospitalized, according to Metro police.

Officers worked to determine the man's identity but he could not provide his name, social security or even names of information for friends who could help. They took him to the Millennium Hotel Maxwell House Nashville where he claimed a friend was staying but staff said no one with that name was registered as a guest.
