NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An Antioch man died Friday night after a crash involving two motorcycles and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 65 in Nashville.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, around 10:45 p.m., Daryus Chambers, 37, and an 18-year-old were driving separate motorcycles on I-65 heading north.
Chambers' motorcycle reportedly struck a tractor-trailer just before the Briley Parkway exit, causing him to lose control and crash. He was then struck by the second motorcycle, and the 18-year-old also crashed.
Chambers was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Metro Police said the tractor-trailer driver did not stop, likely because they did not know their vehicle was hit.
