NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Four teenagers were arrested on Thursday night in connection with a spree of car break-ins that took place across Davidson County.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the teens reportedly broke into vehicles in the parking lot of Nashville Nightmare Haunted House, as well as in East Nashville and Midtown.
Officials said the MNPD helicopter team was patrolling over Madison on Thursday night and saw windows being shattered on at least three parked vehicles and people going into them looking for valuables.
The suspected car burglars drove off in a sedan, which the MNPD helicopter team followed from above, officials said.
According to the MNPD, the suspects rode through Madison for about 15 minutes before they were on Brick Church Pike and pulled into a strip mall parking lot. At that point, undercover detectives moved to apprehend all four and ultimately did so after a short foot chase.
Detectives reportedly recovered a pistol and "evidence from vehicle break-ins" from the suspects' vehicle.

Officials said 19-year-old Carlos E. Lancaster of Greggwood Drive was among those arrested. He is now facing 15 counts of auto burglary, contributing to the delinquency of minors, gun theft and 13 counts of vandalism. He remains in jail on a $98,000 bond.
According to the MNPD, two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old were also arrested. They are each being charged in Juvenile Court with 15 counts of burglary and 13 counts of vandalism.
