NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Park Police has a new addition to their unit.
Park police are excited to welcome 4-year-old Dynamite Diesel to their Mounted Patrol herd. Dynamite Diesel joined the team just a few days ago and has been staying at the Hendersonville Police Department's mounted barn.
Sergeant Curtis Avant said Dynamite Diesel journeyed all the way from Blairsville, Georgia to join the force and is the first new horse to join the herd in some time.

Dynamite Diesel will be out patrolling the greenways with a new rider, joining the department's other horse. He's already been scheduled to visit some community centers and Avant said that he has a long career ahead of him.
