Man shot in the leg off West End Avenue

Description

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was wounded in a shooting near Centennial Park in Nashville Wednesday night.

Officers were called to a parking lot in the 2700 block of West End Avenue around 10:15 p.m.

According to Metro police, the victim was shot in the leg. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said one person was detained for questioning and taken into custody.

No additional information was immediately released.
