WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was sentenced earlier this month for stabbing two women in Williamson County in 2023.
According to Williamson County District Attorney Stacey B. Edmonson, Roni Ethan Johnson was sentenced to 32 years in prison for stabbing his wife and a friend in August 2023.
Johnson was found guilty in July of attempted first-degree murder, attempted voluntary manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault and domestic assault after a three-day trial.
Williamson County Senior Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Dungan and Belmont University law student Phoebe Arevalo prosecuted the case. Detective Wes Crigger with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office conducted the investigation.
