GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — It's time for Market in the Park, one of the biggest events in Gallatin.
Ninety vendors are parked into Triple Creek Park, and thousands of people are expected to come out and shop local, eat food and enjoy live music.
The market kicked off the fall market earlier Friday afternoon and will run until 9 p.m. Then it'll pick back up Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and run until 3 p.m.
The market offers the perfect activity to do with the family this weekend.
Organizers usually expect about 2,500 people to come for the two-day market; Bailey Lingo said the market tries to bring unique vendors that also align with the time of year. That means plenty of fall decorations and merchandise for sale at the market this weekend.
"We truly just want to have a great time with our communities and even communities close to us," Lingo told News 2. "We are vendors ourselves, so we try to support local as well as our friends."
There will be another market in the spring, but this year Lindo said they're working on setting up a third new market for Christmas.
