NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One of the biggest community yard sales of the year is coming to East Nashville.

The Eastside venue DRKMTTR—pronounced "dark matter"— is hosting the event, which functions as a pay-what-you-can sale. Proceeds from the sale benefit local musicians and the neighborhood.

The group said it's made possible by donations from the community.

According to the group, the money raised from the sale will also be used to allow the independently-owned venue to put on free cultural and civic education programming year round for people of all ages.

The yard sale will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. DRKMTTR is located at 1111 Dickerson Pike.

If you have items you'd like to donate to the sale, you can bring them by the venue from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday while they set up.
