NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Fire officials were called to an intense scene Tuesday morning after a parking garage fire was reported in downtown Nashville.
Firefighters were called to the parking structure fire near 7th Avenue North and Commerce Street after witnesses reported hearing explosions and heavy smoke in downtown Nashville.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, upon arrival, crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the fourth and fifth floors and multiple cars on fire.
Investigators are unable to enter at this time because ramps between the fourth and fifth levels of the building have collapsed, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
