NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Vanderbilt Commodores head football coach Clark Lea and three players will head to Atlanta next week for the Southeastern Conference Media Days.
The school announced in a news release on Tuesday that Lea will be joined by safety/outside linebacker Randon Fontenette, defensive back Martel Hight and quarterback Diego Pavia.
Fontenette, who transferred to Vanderbilt after one season at Texas Christian University, recorded 73 tackles including eight tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in his first season with the Commodores. He also finished with a team-high eight pass breakups and one interception in the 2024-25 season.
Hight finished his sophomore season with 33 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass defends and a forced fumble. He also finished among the top punt returners in the country with 14.7 yards per attempt.

Pavia was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year and the national Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press for his efforts in the 2024-25 season. He completed 59.4% of his passes and threw 20 touchdowns while also leading the team in rushing yards with 801 and eight touchdowns.
SEC Media Days will run from Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park. The Commodores will speak with the media on Monday.
