MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A carjacking suspect was taken into custody Monday after allegedly crashing two stolen vehicles in Montgomery County.
Deputies were called to a carjacking in the 2600 block of Shady Grove Road around 8:15 p.m.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Bokeem Love stole a car and then crashed along Shady Grove Road.
A passerby stopped to check on the crash before Love then took a second vehicle and fled down Shady Grove Road where he crashed a second time, according to a release. No major injuries were reported, but one person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Deputies located Love at the second crash and took him into custody. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting the investigations of the vehicle crashes, and Montgomery County Investigators are working the carjacking.
The investigation is ongoing and no additional information was immediatley released.
