SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A black bear was found dead Monday morning beside Vietnam Veterans Boulevard in Gallatin.
Sumner County officials said the bear was found near Exit 12.

Authorities have not confirmed if it is the same bear that was first spotted in Bethpage on May 26. Officials told News 2 last week it was the first bear sighting in the area in over a decade.
Officials on the scene are working to determine how the bear died.
