She spent the next 6 years working her way up through the accounting department by providing excellent services to her organization which included AP, AR, Job Costing, Payroll, Tax, GL maintenance, Month/Year-end closings, and more. In 2004, Melanie was promoted to Corporate Accounting Manager, a role in which she trained and mentored, directly and indirectly, a staff of up to 23 managers and accountants. During her 14 years in that role, she was responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the books for multiple companies and divisions which consolidated at one point to a billion dollars of annual revenue. In 2015, Melanie earned her B.S. degree in Business Management focused in Leadership from Bryan College, which furthered her abilities as a leader in the organization.
