NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was injured after a shooting at a liquor store in South Nashville Friday night.
Officers were called to a liquor store in the 500 block of Murfreesboro Pike just after 11 p.m.
According to Metro police, the victim was shot by a store employee after a physical altercation. The employee told investigators the fight began after they confronted the victim for stealing from the store.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where their condition is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing and no additional information was immediately released.
